Control Net Solutions Ltd are the data controller and we are responsible for your personal data (referred to as "we” or “us” in this privacy notice). As an electrical engineering and software company we collect and use certain types of information about individuals that use or services and products.
This data is collected and stored in electronic form in such a way to fully comply with the GDPR Regulations 2018.
What personal data?
In addition to data which is freely available in the public domain such as Company name, business address, business telephone and website etc. We only collect personal data from Direct Interactions with us; email, phone, fax or post. Generally we only hold the following personal data:
Contact Name, Telephone / Mobile number and Email Contact details.
We do NOT collect any Sensitive Data about you. Sensitive data refers to data that includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data or criminal convictions and offences.
How we use personal data?
We will only use your personal data when legally permitted. The most common uses of your personal data in contacting you to offer a service or product. We do not use your data for any indirect marketing purposes
We may have to share your personal data with the parties set out below
- Professional advisers including lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers who provide consultancy, banking, legal, insurance and accounting services.
- HM Revenue & Customs, regulators and other authorities based in the United Kingdom and other relevant jurisdictions who require reporting of processing activities in certain circumstances.
Data Security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally disclosed, lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees and contractors who have a business need to know such data. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month.
